Kids have a way of turning even the simplest ideas into something truly amazing – whether it’s a masterpiece or just a creative mess, this activity is all about letting them explore their imagination and add their own unique sparkle (literally!) to the celebration!😀

Items Needed:

  1. Black chart-paper,
  2. Glitter Paper (optional),
  3. Glitter pens or sketches,
  4. Ruler,
  5. Stickers (optional)

Steps:

  • Fold your black paper in half to make the base, 
  • Use glitter pens or even glitter paper to draw big colorful fireworks on the front. You can make circles, zigzags or whatever you want,
  • Add some stickers to make it extra sparky,
  • Inside the card, write “happy new year 2025” in your best handwriting!

Magical Unicorn Card

Items Needed:

  1. White paper for the card base,
  2. Pink, purple and golden markers or sketch,
  3. Glitter glue, 
  4. Scissors

Steps:

  • Fold the white paper in half to make the card base,
  • On the front, draw or cut out a cute unicorn face with a colorful mane and a shiny horn, You can even use glitter glue to make the horn sparkle,
  • Add little stars, clouds, or rainbows around the unicorn for an extra magical touch,
  • Write “Have a magical 2025” on the front.

Cute Countdown Clock Card

New Year clock Card

Tick-tock, Tick-tock- it’s almost midnight! 🕐 How about making a countdown clock New Year Card, that’s not only creative but a sneaky way to help your kids learn numbers and read a clock? 

It’s a perfect mix of fun and learning, all wrapped up in a colourful New Year Card!

Items Needed:

  1. White paper for base,
  2. Colorful paper for clock,
  3. A marker, 
  4. A split pin to make moving clock hands (optional, though!)

Steps:

  • Fold your white paper in half to create base,
  • Cut a circle out of the colored paper and glue it to the front of the card,
  • Draw numbers and clock face on the circle,
  • Cut out two small arrows for clock hands and attach them to the middle of the clock (or you can buy the Kit at an affordable price – HERE)
  • Inside the card, write: “It’s time to celebrate. Happy New Year 2025!”

TIP: If you don’t have the materials for the clock hands, just simply cut small arrows from handmade paper and glue them directly on top of the clock face, or use a button in the centre to create a simple pivot point for the arrows to move. 

Balloon Animal Card

Who doesn’t love balloons and adorable animals? 🎈🐘 Now imagine combining the two to create the cutest New Year Card ever! 

With a little cut here and a little paste there, your child can turn colourful balloons into a charming elephant design that’s sure to make everyone smile!☺️

Items Needed:

  1. White or any Bright color paper for base,
  2. Marker and Pens,
  3. Colors,
  4. Googly eyes (for extra fun), 
  5. Stickers (optional) 

Steps:

  • Fold your card into half as a base,
  • Then cut the balloons in the shape of animals (for example: elephant) and stick that using glue on the front page,
  • Add googly eyes to the animals for a silly effect,
  • Write “let’s bounce into 2025” on the front,
  • Write the message inside for your friends or family with the doodles of balloons or confetti!

Pop-up Party Hat Card

Steps:

  • Fold your card base in half,
  • Cut out a triangle from the colored paper (this will be your hat)
  • On the inside of the card, glue the bottom of the hat to the fold so that it pops-up when you open it.
  • Decorate the hat with pen or stickers and draw a fluffy pom-pom on top of the hat or can even attach cotton balls!
  • Write “let’s party into 2025” inside!
