Virtual Schools Now Affiliated by Rajasthan Government -Cyboard School

Virtual Schools Now Affiliated by Rajasthan Government

In a groundbreaking decision earlier this year, the Rajasthan Government has taken a monumental stride into the future of education. By introducing bye-laws for the affiliation of Online Schools, also known as Virtual Schools, the state has not only showcased its unwavering commitment to innovation but has also ignited a promising era for online schooling in India. While the Delhi Government launched its Virtual School under the newly formed Delhi Board of Secondary Education (DBSE) in 2022, it failed to provide provisions for affiliating other private schools or ed-tech companies. The recent decision by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is a much-awaited and highly welcomed move. We, at Cyboard School, are thrilled that Online Schooling in India is now on the verge of becoming a widely accepted norm with the government’s endorsement.

The Soaring Ascent of Online Schools

Online Schools, often referred to as virtual schools, have emerged as transformative forces in the education sector. They present students with a dynamic, flexible, and technologically-driven learning experience, effectively erasing geographical boundaries. With the Rajasthan Government’s resounding endorsement, these schools are now on the precipice of ushering Indian education to unprecedented heights. At Cyboard School, honored as India’s Best Online School, we wholeheartedly believe that Online Schooling, also known as Virtual Schooling, has the potential to deliver quality education right to every doorstep in our vast nation, effectively democratizing the education landscape.

Online Schooling in India: A Governmental Green Light

The Rajasthan Government’s endorsement of Online Schools represents a resounding vote of confidence in the future of online schooling in India. This decision mirrors the expanding acknowledgment of the potential and efficacy of virtual learning platforms. It not only elevates the credibility of online schools but also provides a reassuring assurance to parents and students regarding the quality of education on offer. Furthermore, it alleviates a significant burden for children and parents who, for various reasons, are unable to access quality education through traditional means. Children can now unlock the boundless world of education right from the comfort of their homes.

At Cyboard School, we firmly believe that this progressive step aligns with the future of education, and we encourage other governments, including the Central Government, to follow suit. This move has the potential to revolutionize education accessibility and quality throughout the nation.

Crucial Bye-Law Highlights

Here are some key highlights from the bye-laws introduced by the Rajasthan Government for the recognition of virtual schools:

  • Collaboration with Non-Government Schools: Educational technical institutions aiming for virtual school recognition must collaborate with non-government schools. This partnership, known as the “virtual integration partner,” is a prerequisite for obtaining recognition from the Rajasthan Education Department.
  • Duration of Recognition: Virtual school recognition will be valid for a minimum of four years, aligning with the period of participation agreed upon in the MOU.
  • Quality Assurance: Edtech companies partnering with non-government schools must ensure that the same educational resources are available to the specified number of students mentioned in the MOU.
  • Curriculum Alignment: Virtual schools must follow the curriculum and examination program prescribed by the board they are affiliated with, ensuring consistency in educational standards.
  • Practical Tests: The responsibility for conducting practical tests lies with the ed tech organization managing the virtual school within the recognized school.
  • Management: The overall management of recognized virtual schools will be overseen by the ed tech system.
  • Class Size: Each online session will accommodate up to 45 students, with provisions for accommodating students with disabilities.
  • Infrastructure: Virtual schools must have well-equipped digital classrooms, a library, and a functioning office at the state level for documentation.
  • Teacher Requirements: Teachers conducting online classes must possess basic computer knowledge alongside their subject expertise.
  • Network and Technology: High-quality network facilities and a dedicated school website or mobile app are essential for virtual schools.
  • These bye-laws ensure that Online schools meet specific criteria to provide quality online education to students across the country. As the government paves the way for online schooling, the future of education in India shines brighter than ever before.
